The kitchen has corian countertops, solid cherry wood cabinetry, convection/microwave oven, two burner gas stove and filtered drinking water. Also a pullout cabinet for trash.
Comfortable Bedroom with full queen sized mattress, large closet and plenty of cupboard and drawer space. The bed has a hydraulic lift with plenty of space for storage underneath.
Full privacy toilet, bathroom with two sinks and a large shower with skylight and plenty of headroom. The toilet is a Dometic porcelain toilet with a marine style foot pump.
This allows you to control your water usage when off the grid.
Interior Remodeling and Upgrading:
The interior was remodeled in July 2014. Most of the original carpeting was replaced with wood laminate flooring. The bedroom and the large living room slide carpeting was replaced.
The J-sofa and dining chairs were recovered with faux leather. The other sofa was removed and replaced with two Scandinavian Euro Recliners and a computer desk.
A Samsung RF 19 - 18 cu/ft residential refrigerator was installed in 2018 and has worked perfectly from the get-go. All fluorescent light fixtures were recently replaced with LED strips or bulbs.

On the roof is an automatic, powered Winegard DirectTV dish with 3 LNBs that can accommodate the most advanced Direct TV DVR. Push a button inside to coach to activate the dish. It takes 3-4 minutes to find all 3 satellites. Plug in your DirecTV DVR and you’re up and running. The coach is wired for surround sound but not hooked up.

We have extensive documentation and service records:
We recently had the rig inspected by Tom at Massey’s RV and Diesel everything looked good.
We have official books on the Cummins ISL engine and Allison 6 speed
transmission. We also have the original Monaco binder containing all
the electrical for the entire coach. We have extensive documentation for
many of the other systems in the coach as well as many of the service
records to the present. Also we have the original build sheet and
various brochures from Monaco detailing all the features of the 2004
Monaco.
400 hp Cummins engine. ISL. 82,022 miles
The engine and chassis have been serviced by Cummins or Massey”s every other professionals every year. We average about 5000 miles/year on the coach. This is a 400 hp engine. This engine is very reliable! In 16 years we only had 3 issues, two with the turbocharger exhaust that was due to poor bracing of the pipe, and the replacement of the exhaust manifold otherwise completely dependable....a real workhorse! We have records for everything ever done on the coach.
The engine odometer reads 82,022 miles. At about 95,000 miles a Cummins tech told me she (the engine) was just about broken in. This is considered a million mile engine. Sales people often sell diesel RVs the way they do cars, saying the fewer miles on the engine the better. Diesel engines like to be worked and used regularly. A Diesel engine that has not been used regularly tends to have more maintenance issues.
Allison 6 speed transmission
Reliable performance, never had an issue. I would have it serviced within a year of buying the coach. Mainly to inquire about any computer updates that are suggested.
7.5K Onan generator with 1557 hours has also been serviced every other year by Cummins and run at least once a month.
Automatic Leveling:
This rig has air leveling. Push a button and the coach will level itself. The air leveling was checked and serviced 2 years ago.
Solar and battery monitoring:
On the roof are six solar panels 4 - 160 watt and 2 - 100 watt totaling 840 watts. A TriStar remote meter in the bedroom. These panels can be tilted manually up to 40 degrees.
An Intellitec charge monitor in the engine compartment that allows the solar to charge both the house and chassis batteries at the same time when off the grid or when plugged into power.
The engine alternator also charges both the house and chassis batteries while driving.
Batteries:
4 six-volt Trojan batteries, each with 200 amp/hr to give a total of 840 amp/hr. These batteries are 4 1/2 years old and have only been cycled down 50 times and never below 70% so they have hundreds of cycles left in them.
Towing:
Complete Roadmaster All Terrain tow system. all you need to do is get a base plate on your car and brake away system (brake controller).
The outside of the rig gets professionally washed and waxed typically once/year. The paint has some scratches and one gouge. There is some checking on the black paint. It still looks beautiful as you can see from pictures, but if you want a motor home that is perfect on the outside then this one is not for you.
There is some gel coat and paint deterioration along the roof line of the coach from the desert sun. You can it see it from the ground. The 3M front shield guard is badly deteriorated, most of the exterior is in very good condition.
All the interior Cherry wood has been recently cleaned, oiled and polished.
The rugs and the leather is cleaned and treated. The laminate wood floorings in good shape. We have runners made from the carpeting we installed to protect the wood flooring.
Complete factory RV window Shade wrap-around set for all the front windows and bath. Blocks 80% of UV rays. Look out front window with privacy from people looking in.
All sewer hoses, water hoses, and various other liquids, fluids, and helpful items to get you started down the road.
Air compressor hose that works right off the coach air compressor.
The black and gray tanks were professionally cleaned 2 years ago. The water tank and all the in-house water lines/systems are maintained and all of the water filters were replaced in April of this year.
This was our 16th year living full time in this rig. Because we live in it we try to keep everything working and up to date. If something needs fixing we fix it because we live in it and it’s a pain when something is not working. Overall the coach is in very good condition.
